Dr. Mark Mettauer graduated with the highest honor of Summa Cum Lade and a degree in Biology from Texas A&M. From then he attended Texas A&M College of Medicine followed by five years of General Surgery training at Scott White Hospital in Temple, TX. He has also completed two years of intensive Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgical training at St. Luke’s Hospital in Houston under the guidance of well-renowned heart surgeon, Denton Cooley, MD. He has been very well published in internal medicine journals and spoken at numerous medical meetings around the country on topics of vascular and heart disease.

Dr. Mettauer brings the expertise and training of the Texas Medical Center’s, Texas Heart institute, MD. Anderson Cancer Center, Herman Hospital, and Texas Children’s Hospital to the NW Houston area.

Dr. Mettauer and his family are members of the Woodlands Church, NW Campus currently meeting at Concordia Lutheran High School.
