Fred Caldwell, the son of a Presbyterian minister, began his career with Southern Realty Corporation in 1985, becoming President in 1988. Fred was the founding partner of Caldwell Watson Real Estate Group in 1990. Caldwell Watson provides marketing, investment, and development services focused on land, office buildings, industrial buildings and residential subdivisions. Caldwell Watson and related partnerships own, manage and market industrial and office buildings, residential subdivisions, and business parks. Fred is a member of several business, community, charitable, and faith organizations. He is a 1983 graduate of Texas A & M University with a Masters of Science in Finance.

Fred and his wife, Susan, have been married for 20 years they have two children, Amanda and Lindsey. The Caldwells have lived in Northwest Houston for 18 years. Fred is the Treasurer, an Elder, and a Sunday school teacher at Windwood Presbyterian Church.
