Rarely do we get biographical information on Guest Speakers like the one we have received on our next speaker T W Hunt. His life has been one of a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Born in Mammoth Springs AR in 1929 and educated at Ouachita Baptist University (B.M.), University of North Texas (M.M. and Ph. D.). He was on the faculty at Oklahoma College for Women, Spanish Baptist Theological Seminary and while serving for 24 years at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary he was interim pastor at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Madrid, Spain and Hilltop Drive Baptist Church, Irving, TX. The last seven years of his formal working career ended as a Consultant in Prayer at LifeWay Christian Resources.

He has been active: (i) as a Conference speaker; (ii) doing Mission work in Spain/Mexico; (iii) authoring many books including Music in Mission, Discipling through Music; The Doctrine of Prayer, Church Prayer Ministry Manual, The Mind of Christ, In God’s Presence, and joint authored From Heaven’s View, The Life Changing Power of Prayer and Prayer and Kingdom Advance; (iv) writing more than thirty articles in various periodicals; (v) producing videos including The Disciple’s Prayer Life, The Mind of Christ, Worship Videos and From Heaven’s View; (vi) as a board member at Life Action Ministries, Union University, and Prayer Power Ministries. He has been elected to Who’s Who in American Universities and Colleges, Who’s Who in the South and Southwest, Who’s Who in Religion, Outstanding Educators of America, Who’s Who in American Education, Who’s Who in America and (surely you guessed this) Who’s Who in the World. Mr. Hunt lives in Spring, TX where he is a member of Spring Baptist Church.
