Jim Foote grew up in Boiling Springs, PA., and attended Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, PA. He was a two-time ALL MIDDLE ATLANTIC CONFERENCE ALL-STAR and 1972 MIDDLE ATLANTIC CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE YEAR. He was drafted by the New York Jets in 1973, signed with the Houston Oilers in 1974, and signed with Tampa Bay Bucs in 1976.
Jim and his wife, Kathy, have been married twenty-five years. They have been involved in children's ministries as Pastors or Assistants for the past twenty-two years, and are currently the Directors of Children's Ministry for Terra Verde Community Church. They have four adult children, John, Justin, Cody, and Kelley.
Jim is employed by International Trucks of Houston as a sales consultant.
