April Luncheon 4/14/26

Nanda Kirkpatrick

Dr. Nanda Duhé Kirkpatrick is the Executive Director of Care Net Pregnancy Centers of Houston where she has joyfully served since 2003, first as the Director of Education then as Associate Director before being appointed Executive Director in 2017.

Nanda was born in Houston and moved with her family to Cypress in 1969. She is a proud graduate of Cy-Fair High School at a time when CFISD had just expanded to three high schools: Bobcat Fight Never Dies!

She enthusiastically lives out the motto, “All who wander are not lost.” After college, she joined the U.S. Peace Corps and lived in Zaïre (now DR Congo) without running water or electricity for over two years while teaching high school biology and chemistry. She also lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina for two years early in her marriage and is grateful that she is able to continue her international travels as a volunteer with LIFE International, teaching on the Sanctity of Life to pastors and church leaders—so far teaching leaders from some 25 nations on four continents.

Nanda holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in biochemistry & cell biology from Rice University and a doctorate from the University of Houston in science and mathematics education.  The ten years she later spent at Rice as a clinical faculty member and Director of Precollege Science Education Outreach prepared her for her administrative and leadership role at Care Net, a pro-life ministry that envisions a community where all women choose life when faced with an unintended pregnancy.

Nanda has been married to Rod for 39 years; they have two adult sons, one who works in the intelligence community outside of Washington, DC and the other who is a recent graduate of the Houston Police Department Academy.
