Melvin Adams
Melvin was born in 1971 and grew up in the ghetto of Houston. At the age of 13, his father died. With the pressure of being financially strapped and surrounded by hopeless situations, he turned to sports. Overcoming incredibly negative circumstances in his life, Melvin achieved the dream of playing professional basketball.
Melvin was a member of the world-famous HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS and now speaks in schools across the nation! His energetic and engaging presentation style makes him a favorite for people of all ages!
He is interactive, high-impact and unbelievably entertaining, and…very relevant! Melvin’s talks are filled with great motivational messages, books that help with leadership, music with lyrics that are actually good for teens! Melvin is married to his beautiful wife, Sonia, and they have two adult sons-Seth and Silas. Both are following in their dad’s footsteps. Seth plays professional basketball, and Silas is an up and coming motivational speaker!
