Gary Kubiak is a true Houstonian and Texan. He was an All-State and All-America quarterback at St. Pius High School and was inducted into the Texas High School Sports Hall of Fame in 1999. He was quarterback for Texas A&M and was selected to the All-Southwest Conference team in 1982 after leading the conference in passing yards (1,948) and touchdowns (19).
Gary was quarterback for the Denver Broncos from 1983 to 1991 playing alongside John Elway. He then coached in the NFL for several teams. He was Head Coach of our Houston Texans from 2006 – 2013. He won three Super Bowl rings as Assistant Coach with the San Francisco 49ers and earned his fourth Super Bowl ring as Head Coach for the Denver Broncos.
Gary and his wife Rhonda have three sons, all active in the NFL. Klint is with the Seattle Seahawks, Klay is with the SF 49ers, and Klein is with the Dallas Cowboys. They have six grandchildren and attend Saint Mary’s in Plantersville.
