Jerry Rubli | 1/14/25

Jerry Rubli has served many years as a licensed professional engineer introducing, promoting and selling new mechanical products and material handling equipment into the oil and petrochemical industries.  With Hydril Company, a privately owned oilfield equipment manufacturer, he served in several roles, including Program Manager and National Account Manager.

While in college, a friend encouraged Jerry to attend a Billy Graham event where he heard some things about Jesus he’d never heard before. Jerry and his girlfriend accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior that evening in October 1970.  Coincidentally, that girlfriend is Jerry’s wife & mother of their three grown children. They have been blessed with 10 grandchildren, and after 53 years of marriage, Donna is still his wife ….and his girlfriend!

Many years ago Jerry attended a “Cursillo de Christiandad” weekend event, which means short course in Christianity. Its purpose is to build up leaders in the greater Christian Church. The Methodist and Presbyterian denominations have licensed it, changed the name to the “Walk to Emmaus” and modified it to reflect their individual doctrines After the weekend, the attendees were encouraged to meet weekly with other men. So nearly every Wednesday for the past 35 years he has met for breakfast with men to talk about the inspirational things they’ve seen God do.

About 16 months ago Jerry learned that he had bladder cancer. After major surgery and many treatments, Jerry is now cancer free!

Jerry and Donna live in Spring and attend Windwood Presbyterian Church where Jerry serves as an Elder. He is active in Between Jobs Ministries.
