Lin Neagle | July 23, 2024

Lin was crushed in a horrific car accident in 2006. She almost lost her legs on-scene.  Once life flighted, the surgeon felt that even if he could repair her mangled legs, she would likely never walk again.  But God!!  Not only is she walking – she walked in the Houston Half-Marathon as her personal show of gratitude for what God had restored.

Lin started as a Business Analyst for American Steamship Company.  She & her family eventually moved to San Antonio, then Raleigh, NC and finally to Houston, where she worked for Compaq/HP.  In 2004 she had the opportunity to start a real estate career.  18 months later, she was involved in that terrible accident.  Within seven months she began driving again and continued her real estate career.

Lin’s kids were very active at St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church, and she became the first female Acolyte Master in that church.  She then became active in weekend retreats at Camp Allen with high school kids.  Loving that, she participated in a Cursillo Retreat and then staffed another Retreat. These amazing experiences began Lin’s thirst to be in and to lead small groups of all types.

WoodsEdge Community Church in Spring is now Lin’s church home. Her book Grace by Which I Stand was published in 2014.  She now speaks for Stonecroft Ministries.

Come & hear Lin’s amazing story!
