9/13/22 | Brenda Pennington

Brenda Pennington, a rare breed facing extinction; a native of the great place called….. Tomball, Texas.  She lives just 7 miles south of town.   Fun fact; Brenda was a Tomball cheerleader when Lori Klein Quinn twirled the baton and led the marching band down the football field during Cougar Pride half time.  Her love for people is only exceeded by her love for family beach vacations.

Do Not Fear

Brenda, founder and CEO of B. Pennington Commercial Real Estate, Inc. is well known in the commercial real estate industry. She studied Home Economics at Texas State University and realized sewing and cooking did not motivate her.  Her dad paid a few tuitions too many including University of Houston, Lamar University, Houston Community College and Southwest Texas State (now called Texas State University) in San Marcos, Texas.

Her career started leasing office space in the Westchase district of Houston. Before forming B. Pennington Commercial Real Estate, Inc, Brenda represented a Bass Brother’s partnership, National Realty Group in Downtown Fort Worth. She has since worked in Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, and the Houston Galleria markets. Established in 1989 Pennington’s main office is located in Northwest Houston on Tomball Parkway, Hwy 249 at Cypresswood Drive.

She has a team of energetic professionals who are committed to representing commercial real estate transactions for tenants, buyers, sellers, and landlords.  She offers her local, regional, and national clients a competitive advantage with her extensive knowledge that comes from years of experience. She is a true advocate on her clients’ behalf, ensuring the best possible outcome in their negotiations. Brenda’s expertise includes land acquisition, investment sales, commercial building development, and commercial lease transactions.

Some of her past and present professional affiliations include: President of the Association of Commercial Real Estate and President of The Women’s Business Forum.

Volunteer positions have included:   Board of Trustee member of Northland Christian School, board member of Care Net Pregnancy Center, board member of The Hand Family Foundation, Advisory board member of The Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts.  She is active as a Treasurer for numerous political campaigns.

Since 2012, Brenda has gathered industry professionals together to share ways to blend their professional life with their faith and trust in God.  Organization in The Commercial Real Estate Prayer Events is one way  she dedicates her time and talent to serving God while encouraging others to focus on His power not their own.

Brenda is married to William “Rodney” Pennington, a retired domestic consultant in the natural gas industry. Their greatest joy is hosting weekly couple’s bible studies in their home, mentoring middle school age students and helping others through their nonprofit, Unexpected Provision.   They have one son, Shelby,  grandchildren who make them laugh a lot, a very overachieving daughter,  Allison, who resides in a town up north… the hallowed ground of Tom Landry and Cowboy football… Big D as we call it down here.
